Ready or Not – The Deadline is coming!

When his sister's eroge company hits a crisis, Shiiba Masashi gets pulled from the sidelines as a fan straight into the deadline itself, with childhood friend Miku roped in alongside him. It's a comedy about making porn games under pressure, not a tragedy, and it plays like one.

The plot follows Shiiba and Miku scrambling to keep the company afloat, and in the process turning up old secrets, half-buried feelings, and the question of what they're actually trying to make versus what's expected of them. Love and creative purpose get tangled together on the way to whatever ending they land on.

Play stays in visual novel territory: read, choose, watch the relationships and the game-within-the-game shift depending on what you pick, with voiced scenes carrying the dialogue. The routes branch toward multiple endings, and the tone leans on humor even when it slides into the more intimate stuff, so it never quite forgets it's a comedy about people trying to finish a project on time.
