NYBY – Not Your Best Year

A student comes back to school for a new term with his girlfriend and his sister close by him, and almost right away that setup starts to crack. This isn't a light story: the people he's closest to get worn down by deceit and cheating while he's mostly left to watch.

As the chapters go on, his girlfriend and his sister are pulled toward other men, and the betrayals pile up around him whether he notices them or not. The story keeps asking the same question in different ways: will he actually catch on to what's happening before it's too late, or just keep living through it.
