Against Yourself

At 25, you've lost the love of your life, and the game opens on the wreckage: no reason to move forward, nothing left to fight for, just an abyss in front of you. It doesn't play that lightly either.

The story is about what comes after loss, whether you claw your way back toward some kind of purpose or let the emptiness win. It says outright that it touches addiction, depression, violence and suicide, and means it as a warning, not a hook.

You steer that rebuild through choices and relationships as the visual novel moves between narrative scenes and 3D-rendered moments with the people who might pull you out of it. There's no lighter framing device here to soften the subject matter, so go in knowing what you're getting.
