N.E.M.O.

Zenon Gombchevsky is ugly, unpopular, and stuck at an elite private high school he never wanted to attend, living with a sister he doesn't get along with. Winter is thawing, the ball is coming, and he's decided this is the year he gets even with everyone who's wronged him and wins over a girl he's got no business winning.

He's not picky about methods. Murder is on the table. So is signing something with Satan, if that's what it takes. The story runs through modern Poland toward that ball with a body count that isn't hypothetical.

Play follows Zenon's choices as he works both angles at once, revenge and romance, with the two goals pulling against each other more often than not. The horror stays grounded in a normal town rather than anything supernatural-looking, and where the story ends depends on which of Zenon's worse impulses you let win.
