A camping trip home turns into a crash course in adulthood when Max stops by his aunt's place and his cousins decide he needs some hands-on tutoring, right before the dead start walking.

Max returns from the mountains to visit his aunt and her daughters, who take his education into their own hands. Then the ground gives up its secrets: archaeologists poking around a nearby cave stir up more than old ruins, and a zombie outbreak tears through the area. Max has to track down his cousins, dodge the infected, and figure out what's actually happening in the region while looking for some kind of way out.

Play moves through point-and-click exploration and dialogue choices as Max searches locations, works through environmental puzzles tied to the outbreak's cause, and builds relationships with the women around him along the way. Choices steer who he grows close to and how the survival plot unfolds, with new locations and scenes added as the story continues.
