About
Rena is a young witch trying to make her way in a world without gods but full of cults, demons, airships, and steam-powered carriages. People come to her cauldron with problems, and what she brews for them is up to her.
Every visitor who walks through the door wants something: a cure, a favor, a way out of trouble. Rena can help them honestly, talk them into something worse, or brew a potion that solves nothing while making things much more interesting. Nothing here judges her for it — deception, seduction, servitude, and kindness are all valid tools of the trade, and a tangle of tentacles doesn't always mean what the guest thinks it means.
The game tracks what Rena does and who she does it to, and those choices bend the story down different paths over time, favoring the light, the dark, or whatever serves her best at the moment. Beyond the potion-mixing and persuasion, there's also a small mini-game woven into the loop for players who want more than dialogue and decisions to chew on.
Changelog
- In this update, we have added new mechanics, a mini-game, expanded Rena's transformation capabilities, and enriched the game content.
- We have reworked the beginning of the game and added a starting trailer.
- We have added a Familiar to help you through the initial tutorial, as well as the
- Grimus Steward in the Tavern. He will be in charge of arm wrestling!
- Some rather spicy scenes have been added to the Tavern, which can be unlocked as you progress through the arm wrestling competitions.
- Rena's appearance can now be changed using transformation potions, and these changes will be reflected in animated scenes.
- The character Miloslava has been integrated. Her story branch — a guest from the lands of the Rus — and animated scenes will appear in the game.
- Animated scenes have been added to Erzsebet's quest.
- The volume of voiced character lines has been increased. We will continue to expand the voice bank as more lines become available.
- New Game Start
- New Tutorial
- Second tier characters added to the tavern
- Some bugs fixed
- Various bug fixes
- Fixed numerous bugs from previous versions of the game;
- A story hook has been added to the game, and you’ll now see a new teaser that explains Rena’s arrival in this world in more detail;
- We’re revamping the hint system;
- Many players complained that the hints were unclear, so we’re overhauling the entire system, and your Familiar will now be responsible for the initial tutorial;
- Voiced lines have been added for characters you’re already familiar with;
- New background characters have been added to the tavern to create an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie over a mug of beer;
- We’ve revamped the visuals for some characters;
- We’ve added new story-driven dialogues with characters;
- We’ve added localization for Chinese, Korean, and French, but we used machine translation, so it may not be accurate. This is a temporary measure, with all its inherent flaws, until we secure the budget for a full-scale translation. By the way, if anyone speaks any of these languages and has a strong desire to help us, please get in touch.
- Fixed the game freezing after returning to the tavern and the inability to talk to characters there;
- Expanded the world map visuals and added buildings that will become available to visit in the future;
- Added the ability to scroll on the map;
- Added support for 2K and 4K monitors - just change the screen resolution in the game settings;
- You can now clear the game's configuration registry if you need to reset settings;
- Fixed a bug that, when exiting to the menu, did not allow loading or would erase saves;
- Saves from previous versions will be marked as outdated, so load them at your own risk (they may conflict with changed or expanded story chains);
- Reworked the potion-stirring indicator: previously, to get the desired steam color you had to move the mouse left to right several times, but now the interface is circular, and you rotate it until the desired color enters the cauldron zone;
- Increasing the fire temperature now has press strength: the harder you pull the slider down, the higher the heat will be;
- Added a "finished potion" effect in the cauldron.
- Chose a concept for the innkeeper, who will buy food, share rumors with Rena, and provide important information (story-related or quest-related)
- Drawing the city map, working on the mechanic of Rena moving between important points; - Polishing the mini-game, adding hints and more detailed visuals; - Assembling the final scenes from Argus' quest;
- Starting work on a new character and her storyline (a secret—the character will be a dragonid).
