Kibō: Grand District

You run the Bureau, the company behind Immersion Total, a technology that stopped telling stories and started living them inside the player's head. The pitch is delivered with the flat confidence of a corporate keynote, which makes the actual game underneath it land a little stranger.

The premise is that nothing here is scripted. A Central Core manages every branching outcome of this synthetic world in real time, and the "predefined universe" is just a starting shape for whatever happens once you're inside it. What that turns out to mean, in practice, is a household full of people who don't behave the way you'd expect once the cameras are rolling.

You move through this world as an RPG, poking at relationships and situations that shift depending on who's watching and who's being watched. Expect family tension, wandering loyalties, and a fair amount of getting caught in the wrong room at the wrong time, filtered through a tech-demo framing that never quite drops its own act.
