Your first day as a transfer student at Hinsdale University starts small and stays small for a while, a quiet New England campus where the biggest event is figuring out where your next class is. Then you start meeting people, and the year fills in around you.

Seven girls carry the real storylines, stretched out over months rather than one lucky night, alongside a wider cast you can pursue more casually. Some threads are over in an evening, a party hookup or a dating app match gone somewhere unexpected. Others take the whole academic year: a school play, a research project digging into century-old documents, a slow pull toward something more controlling than romantic.

You spend the year going to class, choosing who to talk to, and following whichever storyline you've gotten tangled in, with branching choices that decide how each girl's arc actually ends. Once the year's over, New Game+ lets you run it back with what you've learned. The most demanding storyline in the game isn't unlocked casually — one girl's ending only opens up after you've confessed your history with the others to her, in her room, on the right night of the week.
