The Family Game

An orphan gets adopted into money, and the smile he shows his new family is doing a lot of work to cover what he actually is: a manipulator with blackmail on his mind.

The setup is simple enough. A well-off family takes in a kid with no history and no one to vouch for him, and he treats that as an opening rather than a gift. Whatever gratitude he performs is just the surface.

This is the first episode, a teaser, so the loop is still narrow: read through the introduction, watch him work his angle on the household, and see how far the leverage goes before it's cut off. Don't expect the whole scheme to pay off yet, since this is only the setup for whatever he's building toward.
