White Lie

A killing on a rainy night sets it off: a fresh conscript panics, grabs the dead man's memory card, and finds out his father can make evidence disappear. The price is medical school, a fake identity, and a standing order to keep tabs on someone called Kane.

That surveillance job is the whole plot. He enrolls as a med student to get close to Kane through the people orbiting him, including Miw, Kane's girlfriend and the nurse mentoring him at his hospital internship. It's a favor from a man who controls everyone's fate, which means it was never really optional.

Day to day, that means classes, internship shifts, and building trust with the women around Kane while trying not to blow his cover. The game runs its social side through hearts with individual characters and a shopping mall with separate stores for cars, electronics, and banking, plus a second, more developed city that for now is just a place to visit rather than something to do anything in yet.
