Ryan can see the future, and what he sees is the Demon Queen clawing her way back from the dead. His fix is to round up the Heroes who beat her the first time, except a decade of peace has left them soft, slow, and nowhere near as sharp as they used to be.

To get that old power back, the group turns to Spirit Summon, a banned ritual that only works if Ryan and the former Heroes go through it together, and "together" here means something a lot more intimate than sparring practice. Whether that counts as bonding or exploitation is left up to you.

You steer each woman down one of two paths: gentle, affectionate Love Rituals or rougher, controlling Lust Rituals, and the choice shapes both the relationship and how the story ends. Between rituals there's turn-based combat against the monsters standing between the party and the Queen, with strategy layered under the seduction. The game doesn't pretend either path leads back to how things were before, and it says so outright.
