Better Future

Ten years in the army, and Matt comes home to find his family gone and the house full of questions nobody wants to answer. Mia, the best friend who never left his side, is still there, which is either a comfort or a complication depending on how the story wants to play it.

The plot runs on that disappearance: Matt digging through his family's secrets while trying to figure out where things stand with Mia, all under the vague promise of a "better future" that keeps getting shoved further out of reach.

Play sticks close to visual novel norms, reading through Matt's search for answers and choosing how far things go with the women around him along the way. The renders and animations pile up fast between updates, but the story itself moves at its own pace.
