The Solarian Conquest

A single boy ends up holding the fate of the Solarian Continent, a medieval land dressed up in scenic beauty and worn down by old wars. The tone leans earnest rather than jokey, treating swordfights, alliances, and romances as things with actual weight rather than window dressing.

The continent is splitting under conflicts generations in the making, and the story follows the protagonist as he's pulled into the middle of it. Choices are framed as consequential, pushing the world toward triumphs or ruin depending on what you do with the people and factions around you.

Structurally it runs as a sandbox RPG rather than a straight visual novel, with main quests carrying the larger story beats and separate girl quests handling the individual relationships and encounters. You spend your time managing which threads to pull, deciding whose trust or bed you're aiming for, and watching the continent's politics shift in response. Sound design is still a work in progress, with ambient audio in place now and character-specific sound planned for later.
