The Midnight Lodge

Ethan's father leaves him nothing but a battered box: a hand-drawn map, a tarnished ring, and photographs of handsome men from the 1950s. That's enough to send a grieving, newly out songwriter chasing a mountain lodge in Northern California, and the ring turns out to do a lot more than fit his finger.

The moment he puts it on, the lodge snaps back to 1955, and three ghosts step out of the walls, stuck living the final week before his grandfather was murdered. Ethan has to work out what happened to them, and to him, before the week loops shut again.

Played as a sandbox, so exploring the lodge and getting close to the men trapped inside it is on your own schedule, not a fixed script. Expect romance and seduction to blur into the haunting itself, with the horror never quite letting you forget that someone here already died once.
