The House of the Others

You wake up in a house that looks pulled from an old gothic novel, with no memory of how you got there. Your childhood best friend and the two most popular girls from your class are stuck in the same place, and the woman who runs the house insists you all call her "Mother."

Nobody explains why you're there or what she wants from you, and the game leans into that discomfort rather than rushing to answer it. Between the four walls and the woman in charge, the house feels less like shelter and more like a trap dressed up as a home.

You spend your time getting to know the people around you and poking at the house itself, room by room, for anything that hints at why you were brought here. Relationships build gradually, some easier than others, and the mystery around Mother only opens up as those bonds deepen. There's a running thread of drawings collecting in the protagonist's notebook, a small record of what you've uncovered so far, and later stretches let you revisit moments you've already lived through rather than just moving forward.
