About
A washed-up filmmaker limps home after a career-ending fallout, betting his last dollar on a project meant to prove he's not the fraud everyone thinks he is. This remaster starts the story just before that fallout, so the wreckage of his reputation is now something you watch build rather than hear about secondhand.
He's not just fighting for a comeback. Old flames from failed relationships resurface right as he gets pulled into a succession fight over a multibillion-dollar conglomerate, and the two messes tangle together fast.
You steer him through that mess, choosing how he handles ex-partners, industry rivals, and the family circling the company's fortune. The visual novel structure keeps the focus on those confrontations and the relationships that come out of them, with the intimate scenes framed as part of the fallout rather than the point of it.
Changelog
- Part 1 of the prologue focusing on life just before the fallout.
- What’s New in This Build
- Cast List: You can now check out a full cast menu in-game! It’s designed for referencing character histories—think names, bios, decisions you made. The main cast is there, plus the girls’ moms, with detailed bios to flesh out their backstories. It’s scrollable and should help keep track of everyone as the story grows.
- Rudimentary Email System: I’ve added a basic email interface for some light storytelling beats. It’s tied to managing the studio—think quick messages from characters that nudge the plot or affect dialogue choices. Nothing fancy (not planning to sink tons of time into it), just a fun little mechanic to mix things up.
- Character Models: The main cast is fully modeled now—Anastasia, April, Rachel, and the rest of the girls—alongside their moms. These are built in Daz Studio, and despite some rendering hiccups (more on that below), they’re ready. Animations are sparse, but learning as I go.
