Confessing your love is supposed to be the hard part. For the protagonist, it's just the beginning of watching his roommate Terry circle the girl he finally worked up the courage to tell.

The setup is simple: two best friends, one apartment, one girl the protagonist has wanted for as long as he can remember. Terry has never had trouble getting any woman he wants, and once Beth is in the picture, that habit doesn't stop for the sake of friendship. What starts as a confession turns into the protagonist watching his own relationship slip out of his hands in real time.

Choices steer how much of that you're willing to watch happen and how far the routes split from there, with the story branching into paths that push the betrayal further rather than resolve it quietly.
