Scorched Innocence

A house fire wipes out everything you had, and the only shelter left is your mother's boss, a lonely man with a large estate and an offer that sounds too simple to be free. Sleep, help around the house, don't ask questions.

You play the daughter, freshly graduated and freshly homeless, trying to figure out whether the arrangement you landed in is generosity or a setup. The house has rules that don't quite add up, and the man who owns it watches more than he explains, so the story turns from grateful houseguest to someone realizing she might be the one being managed. Whether you dig for the truth or let yourself get pulled further into his hands is the actual thread here, not a side note.

As a visual novel, the pace is mostly reading, choosing how much you push back or go along, and watching the estate's routine slowly reveal itself as something less accidental than it looked on day one.
