Order of the White Rose

Shura joins the Order of the White Rose to fight demons hiding in the city, and quickly finds out the war between good and evil has been going on for centuries longer than he knew. The story stays grounded in this conflict rather than winking at the player about it.

Underneath the monster-hunting is a personal thread: Shura's own past turns out to be tangled up in the struggle, which raises the stakes past a simple good-versus-evil setup. The Order itself becomes as much a mystery to unravel as the demons are.

This is a kinetic novel, so there's no branching to manage, just Shura's path through the Order, the underworld beneath the city, and whatever his past turns out to mean for the fight. The 3DCG scenes carry the supernatural and religious elements the plot leans on, with the encounters escalating alongside the story rather than existing apart from it.
