Savage Eclipse

A botched experiment with a primal energy has turned every female creature on the planet into a predator, and you're the human unlucky enough to be hunting through the wreckage of it. Wildlife, monsters, giant insects, doesn't matter what it used to be before the corruption got to it; now it's after you.

The plot is simple: something went wrong with humanity's tinkering, the world's female population across every species went feral as a result, and you're stuck tracing that corruption back to its source before it swallows everything else. There's no ambiguity about the stakes, only about whether you'll survive long enough to fix it.

You move through this dystopian, monster-infested world fighting turn-based battles against the things it's spawned, furred, scaled, and otherwise. Lose a fight and the tables turn completely, putting you at the mercy of whatever just beat you down. It's a straightforward RPG loop dressed up in a fantasy setting that doesn't pretend the danger is metaphorical.
