Ryuusei World Actor: Gaslight Bullet

A city that hasn't seen sunlight since the last war, run through with hidden crime, is the backdrop for a detective who can't stay out of trouble. Hiryuu Ruka works out of the 13th Division, a dumping ground nicknamed the Sideliners, and keeps chasing the Cult Massacre case on his own time even after it gets him bounced down to Traffic.

Getting reassigned isn't the end of it. Ruka takes on whatever gets thrown at him to claw his way back to front-line detective work, and a fire at a conglomerate building turns out to be the spark for something much larger tearing through the Seventh Republic.

Played as a visual novel with voiced scenes, it follows Ruka through his cases and the fallout of his reassignment, mixing the noir detective plot with the fantasy setting's darker corners. Combat sequences break up the investigation work rather than replacing it.
