Rise of the Last Hero

An ordinary human in a world crowded with other races, you're pulled into training for a catastrophe nobody can quite name yet. The setup leans earnest rather than winking, more coming-of-age than parody.

The world's real history has been buried under lies for so long that even your own past is part of the cover-up. Whatever you're training to become is tangled up with finding out who you actually were before all this started.

Play moves through Ren'Py-style scenes and choices as you train, uncover pieces of that hidden past, and cross paths with the various women and monster girls populating this fantasy-tinged, faintly sci-fi setting. Romance and combat prep sit side by side rather than one dominating the other, with the story doling out both in short, readable chunks rather than long grinds.
