Reconnected

Centuries after the Solarian war exiled Earth's defeated species to Andromeda, the old factions have finally agreed to reconnect and share what's left of their cultures. That truce barely holds before diplomats and civilians start turning up dead, killed by someone or something no one can identify, and the story leans hard into that dread rather than the diplomacy.

You play a man pulled into the investigation as the killings spread fear through the city, working out who's behind the murders while the reconnection effort threatens to collapse around you. The setting is alien and furred rather than human, but the paranoia reads the same.

As a visual novel, it moves through dialogue and choices rather than free roaming, with the mystery driving the pace and relationships forming along the way, including romance and encounters between men that develop as trust or suspicion grows. The horror stays close to the surface throughout, so don't expect much comic relief between clues.
