After his father's death, Heiran and his mother pack up and start over in a new town, and he can't stop wondering why he looks like neither of them. It's a quiet setup with an uneasy question sitting underneath it.

Heiran means to keep things simple: settle in, keep his mother happy, stay out of trouble. That plan lasts about as long as it takes for an old friend to turn up again, and from there the new life stops being quiet.

You move through the town day by day, nudging conversations and situations toward the people around Heiran, his mother included, as old ties resurface and new ones form. The sandbox structure keeps the pace slow and exploratory rather than scene-to-scene, so most of what happens grows out of who you choose to spend time with and how far you let things go.
