About

Astelia Ginkart used to be a princess. Now she's just a woman with no title, no privileges, and a kingdom full of people who'd rather see her fail than help her back up, so she gets by however she can, wits first, everything else if it comes to that.

The setup is medieval fantasy with real stakes underneath the color: Astelia was overthrown, evil is quietly settling into the cracks of the world around her, and reclaiming her name means dealing with both. Whether she ends up back on a throne or working a very different kind of stage is left an open question.

You move her through a sandbox version of this world, making the choices that push her toward one ending or the other, with turn-based fights borrowing a bit of tabletop logic rather than pure visual-novel clicking. The combat side is still being built out, with grapple attacks and quick-time struggles meant to make getting caught by the wrong enemy an actual risk rather than just a game-over screen.

So it's finally here, the improved battle system with binding mechanics!
To test it, you may find the thugs in the Town center. Their leader (with the higher HP) does grapple attacks now. This attack initiates a Quick Time Event and if it fails, Astelia gets captured. During this phase, there are two actions to take: Endure or Resist. Enduring is necessary to keep going while resisting helps to escape the situation. I plan to add more visual variety to it later on.
