You're the new mayor of an island with no idea what that actually involves, which is what the secretary is for. She's the one who actually knows what she's doing, and she's not shy about showing it.

The setup is simple: settle in, meet the villagers scattered around the island, and figure out what each of them is good at. Some of them aren't human, which fits an island where the wildlife apparently includes monster girls and worse.

Play consists of building up the island at your own pace and working through its residents one relationship at a time, sandbox-style rather than on rails. There's no grand crisis to solve, just an island, its people, and a mayor who's clearly out of his depth in the best possible way.
