You're moving through the same stretch of corridor over and over, watching for the one detail that's wrong this time, tentacles, monsters, and whatever else has been rearranging itself in the dark included. There's no map and no explanation for why the floor keeps resetting. You just walk, watch, and decide how much you want to know.
