About
Ahri wants a skin that costs way too much, so she decides to climb the Elo Tower and screw her way to enough LP to afford it. That's the whole premise, stated with a straight face, which is funnier than if it winked at you.
Along the climb she runs into other champions who might help her farm LP, provided she's willing to indulge the appetites the title already spoiled for you. Combat isn't the usual RPG Maker slog either: fights use a grid-based positioning system so you're arranging your team like an actual teamfight instead of clicking through a menu for ten minutes.
The loop is straightforward: fight your way up a floor, meet someone, negotiate with your body, repeat, all in service of a skin Ahri absolutely does not need. New guest content keeps getting bolted onto the climb, so the tower isn't done growing.
Changelog
- This update adds the guest quest (D.VA) along with her full scene. You
- can start her quest in the Iron Inn, near the town entrance.
- Originally I planned to split the month in two, releasing a Guest patch
- first and then the final patch but I got badly organized and fell behind
- on the intermediate version. Sorry for the wait
- Getting this patch out took longer than expected, but we finally made it! And you'll be happy to know that you can now hide the dialogue boxes with a simple press of the TAB key, perfect for those who want to admire the sprites and CGs in more detail.
- What’s in this update:
- 2 new CGs have been added to the game
- The beginning of Gwen’s side quest has been implemented. It includes the intro and a first area where you can discover and test the new corruption system.
- 2 new side quests that are more developed than the previous ones.
- The Iron III floor has been unlocked.
- Improvements & Balancing:
- Buffs:
- Arthur – Shield Bash: Stun chance increased from 15% to 50%
- Additions:
- Pressing TAB now hides/shows the dialogue boxes.
- "Invention Blueprint" items now have numbers (01 to 05) to make collecting them easier. Two new blueprints have been added, and the area for blueprint 02 is now accessible.
- New fishing spots have been added.
- New items have been added to the Black Market merchant.
- New buildings in Iron have been opened.
- Bug Fixes:
- Kai'sa & Dev Tool: A development tool accidentally left in the previous patch allowed players to add a half-coded Kai'sa to their team. The tool has been removed and a flag has been placed in the tower to delete her from teams that used the tool. Be careful not to give her any items, or… you might have to wait a while before seeing them again.
- Healing Potion: A scripting error was causing the potion to deal damage instead of healing.
- What’s next?
- In the next patch, we’ll be adding the final character of the main quest roster. We’ll also continue Gwen’s side quest.
- The guest character (D.VA from Overwatch) will arrive in a mini-patch before that. We’re aiming for a release within the next 15 days.
- Your feedback is extremely important to us, so feel free to let us know what you think of this version! Thank you again for your support!
- What’s in this update:
- 1 new characters join the roster
- 2 new CGs are now included in the game
- The Iron sewers and a small expedition into the lower depths of the tower.
- Improvements & balancing:
- Buff:
- Irelia: Vanguard's Edge now generates 20 additional aggro points.
- > This change makes it easier for Irelia to temporarily draw mob aggro and partially serve as a tank... You’ll understand why after finishing the patch.
- Nerf:
- Arcanus: Chain Lightning paralysis chance reduced from 10% to 5% per hit. (This means a 9% chance to paralyze instead of 27% on a single target.)
- > Arcanus had become such an effective crowd-control machine that it made the Iron IV BO fight a bit too easy by constantly chain-paralyzing Irelia. She should now be noticeably harder to lock down repeatedly.
- Additions:
- A new recipe is now available from the alchemist in the lumberjack village.
- It is now possible to skip the intro comic.
- New buildings in Iron have been opened.
- With the addition of a lighting management plugin, some areas have been reworked (including the Iron ruins).
- Bug Fixes:
- Some dialogues that were still in French have been translated into English.
- Fixed a collision bug with vines that allowed players to walk through them.
- Fixed a bug where the Iron exit collider did not fully cover the doorway.
- What’s new in this update:
- 2 new characters join the roster
- 3 new CGs are now included in the game (yes, finally CGs )
- 1 new repeatable side scene
- The Iron floor and the main story up to Iron III
- Balancing update:
- Ahri’s stats have been rebalanced to better match her base stats and allow for more consistent scaling across levels.
- The previous setup capped around level 18, while this new one is designed to scale up to level 99
- Sawmill gold rewards adjusted from 50 to 35 per plank.
- The Forest tutorial area was originally designed to be completed through both quests and the lumberyard. With the addition of new Sawmill stages, it became possible to clear the tutorial using only that system, which was not the intended design.
- Initial Release
