Henteria Chronicles Ch. 3: The Peacekeepers

A shipwreck strands young Leto alone in the island-kingdom of Nos'Ra, and the story picks up years later as he's raised among strangers who slowly become family. The tone leans earnest coming-of-age drama with a slow-building rot underneath it.

Leto grows up under the care of his adoptive mother Haylen, alongside his new sister Cyanna, the hot-tempered Lily, and Rose, the kingdom's princess. None of them notice the dark fog settling over the capital of Luminia, or the scheme quietly closing in on the women in Leto's life, one that will eventually tear his settled new world apart.

Play follows Leto through this fantasy setting in pixel-art scenes with hand-drawn portraits, mixing everyday relationship-building with the corruption and netorare threads that start pulling those relationships apart from the inside. The game got big enough, and the engine limited enough, that the developer split it in two: Part 2 picks up assuming you've fully cleared everything through Update 19, so anyone still catching up should hold off before jumping ahead.
