Lessons of Corruption

Ethan has money for anything he wants, but Monica Parker, the new teacher, isn't interested, no matter what he buys her. That kind of rejection is new to him, and he doesn't take it well.

Then he learns why she might be worth the trouble: her ex-husband left her with debts, the bank is closing in on her house, and even renting a room to a student hasn't covered the gap. Ethan sees an opening and proposes a deal, then arranges to meet her after class to make his case.

Play follows that meeting and whatever it leads to, as Ethan works the leverage her situation gives him. The setting stays close to campus and her home life, with the power imbalance between a rich student and a teacher who needs money doing most of the work.
