Helena and the Tower of Darkness

A demon-hunting scythe wielder walks into a tower alone, which is already a bad sign. Helena's soul-devouring weapon makes her a threat to the monsters inside, but that doesn't stop them from trying to get their hands on her first.

The Tower of Darkness is the source of the miasma corrupting the world, and Helena means to end it at the root by climbing straight to the bottom of it. Every floor down means another demon convinced it can break her before she breaks it.

Play moves through the tower's rooms and encounters in the usual sandbox rhythm, exploring floor by floor while the demons throw everything they have at her. Helena pushes through the lewd torments rather than around them, and the tower doesn't get any less hostile the deeper she goes.
