Goth Mommy Hikari

A room for rent, and a landlady who clearly isn't just going to hand over the keys and disappear. You play a student sharing a house with Hikari, a guarded widow whose cool exterior keeps slipping the more time you spend around her.

The setup is simple: proximity does the work. You're renting a room from someone who lost her husband and built a wall around herself since, and the story is about that wall coming down one shared afternoon at a time.

Day to day, you move through the house on your own terms, hanging around the pool and terrace, cooking with her in the kitchen, picking out gifts and outfits, settling into quiet evenings in the living room. Nothing is forced. You choose where to spend your attention, and the house responds by letting Hikari open up a little more each time. This is a first look at that space, not the finished house.
