About

Turning off the phone and actually looking up at the people around you turns out to be the real seduction technique here. Fiery Passions treats digital detox as a dating strategy, and it plays that idea straight rather than winking at it.

The game moves through its sandbox at the pace of a guy figuring out that a screen was never the point. Days are spent navigating a small cast that includes an older woman clearly meant to matter, with romance and quieter, watching-from-a-distance moments doing more work than any grand plot. There's no mystery to solve, just relationships to nudge along a location at a time, checking in on who's free and where the story wants you to look next.

It's a small, low-drama build around one idea, stretched exactly as far as that idea can go and no further.
