Family of Choice

Your father just died, and the news drags you back to a house you walked out of thirteen years ago. Family of Choice starts with a funeral and ends up asking whether blood actually makes a family.

The setup is messy on purpose. Your parents' marriage fell apart, your father abandoned you, and you spent over a decade being raised by your cousin and your erratic Aunt Magda instead. Coming home means facing your mother and sisters again, plus a new complication: your father's widow and her daughter, strangers who now have as much claim to this house as you do. Old resentments, buried secrets, and unfinished business are all waiting in the same rooms you grew up in.

You play through conversations and choices that decide how each relationship develops, whether you step up as head of the household or just try to get to the truth, and which of the three families you end up calling your own. It's a slow rebuild of trust and attraction across people who aren't supposed to want each other, told through still scenes and dialogue rather than any kind of open exploration.
