Echoes of Ashford

Lord Ashford is dead, or so everyone claims, and you arrive at his manor as a guest just as a forged will and nine tight-lipped residents make it clear something else is going on. It plays like a mystery first: the mansion is full of secrets and everyone in it has a reason to lie to you.

You spend your time investigating the death, building relationships with the household, and improving your own skills through daily tasks, with each conversation nudging you toward one of several endings. The romantic and sexual side of things grows out of that same trust-building rather than sitting apart from it, so nothing forces itself on you before the story earns it.
