DEAR SPACE

A repair job turns into a rescue mission when Euclid finds his lover Crow transformed into the first host of an infection called EX Cells, now commanding a crew of mutated women who want him dead or worse. The tone plays it straight, treating a monster-girl horror premise with actual dread instead of a wink.

Euclid boards the mining ship "Stone Virrage" expecting tram repairs and instead finds it gutted by a hunger that spreads through everything it touches, human and machine alike. Crow, now called Mother, leads the infected "Monmusu" through the wreck, and Euclid has to decide whether she can still be saved.

The Prototype Wave Cannon Type R is the only tool that pushes back against the EX Cells, and the player uses it to fight through corridors and confront each transformed crew member in turn. Losing those fights doesn't just end the run quietly. It's a small, mean joke on top of a story that otherwise plays its horror completely sincere.
