Your father's move for work left him one option: park you with Darla, an old friend, whose daughter Anya turns out to be your classmate and now your housemate. School isn't going much better than home, and your teachers have handed you one last shot at graduating before you wash out entirely.

That double pressure, sink at school or figure out what's actually going on in this house, is the whole setup. The story leans on the idea that this is as much about self-discovery as it is about passing grades, with Darla and Anya both very much part of that discovery.

There's no branching here to speak of; it's a kinetic novel, so you read, you watch the scenes with Darla and Anya play out, and the story moves forward on its own schedule. Early access, so what's here is the opening stretch rather than the whole arc. And yes, the game will tell you, more than once, that purple is the color of passion.
