Age of Chaos

Two monster hunters cross into foreign territory to gather intelligence on local species for their school back home, the kind of assignment the Empire expects its students to bleed for. A local mage with her own agenda meets them at the border, and the arrangement they strike turns out to cost more than information.

Karin and Valten's mission bends under pressure almost immediately. What starts as fieldwork for the Empire slides into something murkier as corruption creeps into their choices, and the further they go, the harder it gets to tell duty from appetite.

The game runs as a turn-based RPG with sandbox stretches between missions, letting you push Karin and Valten toward loyalty to the school or toward whatever the mage and the growing cast of side characters are offering instead. Decisions accumulate rather than reset, and the world keeps a record of what you have let your characters do, brothel visits included.
