A Foreign World

Nine women slip out of a collapsing, post-apocalyptic universe and land on our earth looking for shelter, and the MC is one of the first people they run into. The gap between the two worlds shows up fast: these refugees dress strangely and casually do things that would pass for magic here.

Their old life doesn't let them go quietly. Nathaniel, a figure from the world they fled, keeps pushing back, and that pressure pushes the MC to grow closer to each of the nine women in order to pick up some of their abilities and hold his own against him. Meanwhile earth's own agents have noticed nine superpowered strangers appearing out of nowhere and are quietly deciding whether they're a threat worth eliminating.

You play the MC trying to keep both sides from tipping into open conflict while building individual relationships with the women, one at a time, as the story moves between quiet romance and the looming Nathaniel problem. It's a visual novel in the straightforward sense: read, choose, get closer to people, watch the plot decide whether you handled it well enough to avoid a war.
