There's no branching to chase here, just a linear novel that moves from scene to scene, letting the story and its cast of world-class beauties carry the pacing rather than any real choices on the player's part. The early build already swapped its flat 2D backgrounds for full 3D renders, so the visuals caught up with the writing fast, even if the systems around them stayed simple by design.
