Yosuga no Sora

Twins Haruka and Sora move back into their grandparents' house out in the countryside, a place stitched through with childhood memories, after losing their parents in a car accident. The reunion should be comforting. It mostly is, right up until it isn't.

Old faces are waiting for them: Nao, an old friend, Ryouhei, Haruka's classmate, Akira, a miko serving a shrine nearby, her close friend Kazuha, and Kozue, the class representative. For a while nothing seems to have changed. Familiar rooms, familiar people, and a quiet rhythm of days work on the twins' grief like a slow balm. Then the village starts giving up what it's been sitting on. A promise sworn years ago. A treasure someone lost and never found. The real reason the family ended up moving all the way out here in the first place. Feelings that have been kept locked down for a long time start working their way to the surface. Summer keeps going, and so does the story underneath it.

It plays as a visual novel built around branching choices that steer toward different characters and different endings, with the current build marking which route a choice is steering you toward before you commit to it, and Sora's path open to pursue from the very beginning rather than something you have to earn. Scenes are voiced, presented in 2D art, set against a school and small-town backdrop that swings between sunlit ordinary days and quieter, heavier revelations.
