Haven is a city where being gay stays hidden or it ruins you, and the protagonist has spent his life burying who he is under his aunt's expectations and the town's silence. Underneath that ordinary surface, though, there's a whole world of men with their own secrets — daddies, bears, beefy guys who aren't interested in pretending anymore.

The story follows him picking a side: keep hiding, or start letting himself want what he wants. Every relationship he stumbles into pushes on that same question from a different angle, some gentler than others.

Play here means talking, choosing, and drifting between the men who show interest in him, with each path shaping which of them he ends up close to. It's built as an ongoing release, so this is a first slice of a longer story rather than the whole thing.
