About
Your final year at Hogwarts is over, the war is done, and what's left is a wizarding-parody sandbox built around one obvious idea: corrupting Hermione. This particular update isn't about new scenes at all. The stated goal was to build the underlying logic and structure for the whole game first, so future content has somewhere to go.
That means the loop right now leans on systems more than spectacle. You still work through a trainer-style progression aimed at Hermione, mixing 2D and 3D art with AI-assisted CG and some animated and voiced moments as the corruption escalates through stripping, spanking, and titfuck scenes. But the actual writing and art you'd expect from a content patch are largely sitting this one out, held back on purpose while the scaffolding gets sorted underneath.

- Evening homework slot now unlocks together with the Evening
- time-of-day tier. Pre-fix, the slot stayed locked even after
- the tier opened (talent activation unlocked Evening on the
- time-of-day clock but the schedule UI still said "Locked"
- on the Evening row). Sequel to v0.5.3.1 #1 -- that patch
- fixed the tier-unlock chain, this one fixes the second gate
- that was sitting next to it.
- "Beneath the Robes" Fashion-talk topic now appears when you
- have the bellybutton piercing and need to show Galatea. Pre-
- fix, the topic was gated on its own completion, so it never
- showed up in the Fashion-talk menu and the piercing arc
- stalled mid-quest.
- Imperio-on-Filch alternative piercing-drop path fixed. If
- you caught Filch out of bed and cursed him with Imperio
- (dark playstyle), the piercing drop was silently skipped.
- Now drops cleanly on either path.
- Audit sweep also ran today against the same failure pattern
- in the rest of the codebase. One additional finding folded in
- (the boys-bedroom Daily Prophet menu entry now uses the
- canonical post-onboarding flag instead of the deprecated
- homework-slots field). Otherwise clean -- no more stuck
- progression bugs in this family.

- What changed since v0.5.3.1:
- Hermione's sprite is no longer clickable during scripted
- onboarding dialogue scenes. Pre-fix, you could interrupt a
- cinematic by clicking her mid-line and end up in the trainer
- interaction. Now scripted scenes block sprite clicks until they
- finish.
- Build hygiene: the distribution archive no longer includes
- internal design / development files. v0.5.3.1's archive shipped
- ~tens of MB of internal text I never meant for the player to
- see. Removed.

- Bug fixes from v0.5.3 player reports. No new content.

- THE BIG ONE
- Talents weren't actually granting AP. The progression chain that
- unlocks Evening / Midnight / Late Night time slots and the TJ /
- BJ / Sex favors was silently broken since v0.5.1 -- every save
- past onboarding stayed capped at Afternoon forever, no matter how
- many talent quests you finished. Fixed. On first load after the
- patch, you'll see a chain of "Evening actions unlocked!" /
- "Midnight actions unlocked!" / "Late Night actions unlocked!"
- popups reflecting the AP your talents should have earned you.
- PROGRESSION FIXES
- Fixed: completing talent quests granted no permanent AP. Evening
- / Midnight / Late Night time slots never unlocked, TJ / BJ /
- Sex favors stayed invisible the whole game. Saves recover
- automatically.
- Fixed: Imperius spell was unreachable on the romance onboarding
- fork. The spell was always meant to be available to ALL players
- (the cast itself is the dark-path branching decision). Pre-fix,
- romance saves had the spell button hidden permanently, which
- also blocked the entire Slave talent chain and the Beneath the
- Robes (bellybutton piercing) arc. Unlocked for everyone now.
- Fixed: the Beneath the Robes piercing arc had a contradictory
- activation condition that meant the quest could never start.
- Quest now activates the moment you acquire the piercing -- buy
- it from the shop OR get it dropped by the cursed Filch. Both
- paths converge on the same quest and progress normally.
- ONBOARDING FIXES
- Fixed: Filch's "caught out of bed after hours" event could fire
- mid-onboarding and softlock the player. The event is now gated
- on onboarding completion.
- Fixed: chat-reward 0-AP soft-lock recurrence. Players who loaded
- a save into the chat-reward step or used Shift+R to reload could
- land at "How are you?" with 0 AP and no way to advance. Fixed.
- SHOP FIXES
- Fixed: ALL artefact + equipment shop purchases were silently
- failing. Buying the bellybutton piercing, nipple piercing, anal
- plug, ravenclaw tiara, slave collar, ball gag, leash, or bondage
- ropes deducted galleons but never granted the item. All 8 items
- now work as intended. Saves where you "lost" a purchased item
- recover on next launch -- the items appear retroactively.
- EXPLOIT + STUCK-STATE FIXES
- Fixed: infinite Wizarding Fashion private lesson XP grind. At
- the last unlocked time slot of the day, completing a private
- lesson didn't advance time but did grant fashion XP -- player
- could walk back, do another, and another. Fashion now caps at
- one of each lesson type per day, matching Special Assignments.
- Fixed: Pet talent locked the cat ears + tail on permanently
- with no way to remove them. Wardrobe toggle now appears for
- both items the moment Pet activates. Existing saves stuck with
- cat features locked on auto-recover.
- JOURNAL FIXES (pre-existing, batched in)
- Fixed: Know-it-all was invisible in the Journal Talents tab,
- even though she starts every game with that talent active.
- Now visible.
- Fixed: clicking a talent's portrait in the Journal Talents
- detail pane could crash on talents without a transition scene.
- Rewatch button now hides gracefully when no transition exists.

- Fixed: giving Hermione chocolate crashed the game with
- "Invalid property: 11" on certain pool entries (Slave / Pet /
- Masochist / Obsessed talents and the universal gifts pool).
- Fixed: refusal stats were heavier than designed. When she refuses
- Show Panties / Fashion lessons / Wardrobe entry from anger or
- exhaustion, the cost is now milder and trust loss replaces the
- resistance gain. Recovery is faster.
