Thirteen freshmen wake up locked inside Hope's Peak Academy, and murder is off the table this time. You play Makoto, and the only way out is to seduce your assigned target into bed before anyone else breaks first.

Monokuma, the same unhinged bear from the source material, struts in to lay down the new rules himself: pick your target, wear them down, make them yours. No stabbings, no bloodstains, just a school full of horny teenagers and a countdown toward what he calls a Climax Execution if you actually pull it off.

You wander the academy freely, talking to classmates, poking at mini-games, and chasing whatever secrets or trophies are lying around campus. Sayaka Maizono, Aoi Asahina, Toko Fukawa, Celestia Ludenberg, Junko Enoshima, and Kyoko Kirigiri are all present and all have their own resistance to grind down, alongside one character the game pretends is a surprise. Cards drop as you go, and Monokuma Tickets let you trade them for the ones you're missing, giving the exploration a light collection layer on top of the seduction plotline. Voice acting exists here and there but most of it is still pending, so don't expect full audio yet.
