The Wanking Dead

A man wakes from a coma to find the world gone, in the way these things always seem to go, and has to figure out who's still worth trusting. The choices he makes ripple out to the other survivors he meets along the way, for better or worse.

The setup owes an obvious debt to zombie fiction, but the outbreak itself stays in the background. What matters is whether this man can hold together some kind of group, or at least talk his way into everyone's good graces, in a world that stopped being polite the moment it ended.

Progress comes through exploring a growing cast of survivors, each with their own arc to work through, and through choices that shape how they see him. The game leans on set time-of-day events and character-specific quests to organize all this, so there's a rhythm to when and where things happen rather than just clicking through a straight line. New arcs and characters keep getting layered on, and the last one released ends with a clear stopping point rather than trailing off mid-scene.
