That's the whole pitch: chase the inheritance, take the internship that gets you in the door, and try not to get distracted by everyone else who's also sniffing around for the same payout.

You're not the only one looking, which is the actual engine of the story. The hotel is full of guests, coworkers, and strangers who all have their own reasons for being underfoot, and the figurine hunt keeps bumping into their business, and vice versa.

Day to day you're working the internship, moving between hotel locations, and building relationships with the people you meet along the way, with the treasure hunt as the thread pulling you from one arc to the next. Expect the usual mix of flirting, propositions, and people who are not what they first seem, tracked through a small but growing web of locations rather than one straight corridor.
