The One

Once every few centuries, a man is born who can hand out superpowers through his seed alone. Some call him a savior, others a walking omen of war, but everyone agrees he's due back after three hundred years, and he's called simply "The One."

The setup borrows straight from prophecy stories: four chosen protectors, the Dawn Knights, each bound to an element (earth, air, water, fire), exist to guard him and the world from whatever disaster his return might trigger. Whether they succeed or get in the way is the whole point of the game.

You play as this returning figure, moving through a sandbox world where strength comes from who you choose to bless and how you go about it. Expect teasing build-up before payoff, a cast that leans into monster and big-ass fantasy tropes, and a male-focused, gay-oriented take on the chosen-one power fantasy rather than a straightforward RPG grind.
