The Mansion of Whispering Desires

Akira watches his girlfriend die in a car crash, then weeks later tags along with his professor Akane to investigate Kagetsu Mansion, a ruin bound up in an old myth about a trapped god and a cursed land. The mood turns from grief to dread fast once he actually gets inside.

Asleep, Akira slips into another version of the mansion, one that never fell apart. There he meets its hostess Sayuri, her servant Mizuki, her daughter Momiji, and finds Yuki again, the girlfriend he lost. The place feels like a gift until it starts working on his head, and he has to decide how much of himself he's willing to give up to keep her.

You move through the story from Akira's POV, exploring the mansion's waking and dreaming halves and making choices that branch depending on which night, and which ritual, you follow. Different paths lead to different endings, and at least one branch pulls Yuki and Momiji into it in ways Akira never sees coming.
