The Locket

Mabel finds her dead grandmother's silver locket and puts it on, and it starts pulling something out of the women around her and pouring it into Mabel. It's a supernatural office thriller with a blunt price tag on every gain.

The story tracks her slide from a grieving, overlooked office worker into someone her coworkers can't stop noticing, and eventually can't stop fearing. She's given the choice to fight the locket's pull or let it take over completely, and the story treats that as a real fork, not a rhetorical one.

You play through Mabel's escalation as a single continuous episode, making the calls that decide how far she lets the thing go. The current release covers her first transformations along with a follow-up stretch that pushes her further, with new stages, faces, and a fair amount of voiced internal monologue as Mabel herself. Anyone who finished the first episode can carry that save straight into the second.
