About

Shin gets pulled into another world as a hero, dragging his stepmother and sisters along with him, only to find four other heroes already got there first and he's basically an afterthought with a sword. Demons are overrunning the kingdoms anyway, so the leftover hero and his companions have to find a way home while everything falls apart around them.

The story follows Shin's group as they navigate a world sliding into chaos, with the usual promises of heroism undercut at every turn by betrayal, corruption, and people who are not on your side even when they say they are.

You steer the plot through dialogue choices that decide who stays loyal and who doesn't, with the fate of the group resting on decisions rather than combat. Expect the corruption and betrayal built into the setup to play out directly on the women traveling with Shin, since the world he landed in has no interest in letting anyone stay clean.
